A $5.00 deposit and completed membership application establishes your savings account and opens the door to credit union membership.

Checking Account

Checking the way you want it! HPECU lets you choose the terms that suit your lifestyle and spending habits:

  • Get a no minimum balance Free checking account when you have direct deposit of net pay or payroll allotment to your checking account.
  • Don’t want direct deposit? Keep a minimum balance of just $250 in your account throughout the month and your checking account is free!
  • Don’t want minimum balance restrictions? Your services fee is just $2 for the month, or $24 for an entire year.

Money Market Account

With a minimum balance of $2,500, you can enjoy the highest yielding transaction account offered at HPECU. This tiered interest rate account rewards members for good saving habits without the burden of restrictions. Deposits may be made at any time through payroll deduction, in person, or by mail. In addition, there are no penalties for withdrawals. Dividends are calculated on the outstanding daily balance and paid monthly.

Vacation and Christmas Club Accounts

Do you want to plan that dream vacation or take care of all the loved ones on your gift-giving list, but can’t seem to save the money? In addition to your savings account, you can open a Vacation or Christmas Club Account and make regular deposits either in person or through payroll deduction.

Vacation Club funds are disbursed on the first business day of June.
Christmas Club funds are disbursed on the first business day of November.

Share Certificates

Start saving for your retirement today with a share certificate. With higher dividend rates than our regular savings account, we offer a variety of terms to meet your needs. Call us or visit our branch to open your certificate today.

  • Minimum deposits as low as $1,000
  • Terms from 90 days to 60 months
  • Monthly Interest can be reinvested in the Certificate, Transferred to your Savings of Checking account or a check can be mailed to your home
  • Use as collateral for secured loans
